Previously, there was a "Patent Attorney Remuneration Table" established by the Japan Patent Attorneys Association, but it was abolished with the enforcement of the New Patent Attorney Law on January 6, 2001.
Currently, each agency is allowed to set its own fees.
The Japan Patent Attorneys Association conducted a survey of patent attorneys who run patent offices and published the results in order to give clients an idea of the approximate amount of patent attorney fees.(https://www.jpaa.or.jp/free_consultation/howto-request/attorneyfee/attorneyfeequestionnaire/)
Our fees are set based on the results of this survey so that they are consistent with average compensation.
However, by providing above-average service, we end up with pricing that is cost-effective.
Currently, our price list is only provided to customers who have made specific inquiries, but in the future we are considering publishing it online.
